Use of This Site

The Site exists to showcase UX/UI design and low-code development case studies for hiring managers, recruiters, and industry colleagues evaluating Kara for professional opportunities. It is not a storefront and does not sell products or services. You may view and share the Site's public content for that purpose.

Case Study and Portfolio Content

Case studies on this Site describe real project work Kara has contributed to. Some case studies reference work done for clients or employers; where that's true, the content is shared with permission and any client-confidential details have been generalized or omitted. Design work, images, and written case study content are Kara's own or used with permission, and are shown for portfolio purposes only, not for reuse, reproduction, or commercial use by others.

Password-Protected Prototype Access

A portion of the Site (under /prototypes) is password-protected and unlisted, used to share in-progress prototype work with specific clients or collaborators. If you've been given access to a password-protected area, that access is personal to you and the reason it was shared, and the content behind it is confidential.

• Don't share your password or session access with anyone it wasn't intended for.
• Don't copy, publish, or redistribute prototype content you can see through this access.
• Access can be revoked at any time, for any reason, including once the prototype work it relates to is complete.

External Links

The Site links to external destinations Kara doesn't control, including LinkedIn and a resume hosted on Google Drive. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and Kara isn't responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Kara doesn't guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kara isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

Dispute Resolution: Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved through binding, individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You and Kara each waive the right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative action.

Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
